The Ideal UV Laser for Permanent Coding on Rigid Plastics and Films

The Domino U510 UV laser printer is designed for permanent and highly precise coding on the latest plastic packaging materials. This UV laser printer can directly mark white and colored substrates without requiring specific laser coding windows. The super-compact, all-in-one Domino U510 is Industry 4.0 ready and easily integrates into modern production lines. The Domino U510 preserves the protective barrier by creating coding through a photochemical reaction in the outermost layer of the packaging material, without causing damage. Its short-wavelength laser pulse and high absorption rate minimize thermal stress and soot particle formation. Even thin and delicate packaging films can be safely coded. For white and colored plastics, the laser pulse reacts with titanium dioxide (TiO₂) to produce high-contrast codes. Since TiO₂ is present in many plastics, the laser can mark anywhere on these products without requiring additives or pre-activated laser fields.
