Domino Gx-OEM

The Thermal Inkjet Coding Solution Designed for OEMs

The Domino Gx-OEM is a “install and forget” thermal inkjet (TIJ) solution, seamlessly integrating with packaging machines. It is specifically designed for installation within electrical panels, thanks to its compact dimensions: 6.4 × 20 × 15.9 cm. All operations, including code creation and editing, can be performed directly by the user via the human-machine interface (HMI). The compact printheads allow for easy installation on production lines and can be mounted up to 25 meters from the controller. The smart functionality of Domino Gx-OEM enables remote monitoring via touchscreen or web browser. Additionally, it features automatic cartridge recognition and automatic ink parameter settings for optimal coding performance.

Gx PRO: ready for the new era of 2D codes
The new Domino Gx PRO print heads have been developed to support the transition to GS1 Digital Link codes and to information-rich 2D codes. With a print height of up to 23 mm, high resolution and strong contrast, they produce readable, reliable codes even on high-speed production lines.
Designed to deliver speed, compliance and less waste, Gx PRO heads allow variable data such as batch, expiry date and traceability information to be built into 2D codes, supporting more effective checks along the entire supply chain. Seamless integration with Domino R Series vision systems also allows every code to be verified automatically in line.
Ideal for the food and pharmaceutical sectors and for direct-to-packaging printing applications, Gx PRO print heads are a solution ready for future traceability and regulatory compliance requirements.

FAQ

Which materials can industrial inkjet coders print on?
Industrial inkjet coders can code and mark a wide range of materials, including cardboard, plastic, glass, PET, metal, flexible films and secondary packaging. Thanks to the different technologies available (CIJ, TIJ, high and low resolution), they suit a great many industrial sectors.

What information can be printed with an inkjet coder?
Industrial inkjet systems can print batch codes, expiry dates, 1D and 2D barcodes, QR codes, datamatrix codes, logos, variable text and product traceability information. Some models also support data serialisation and high-definition coding.

Are inkjet coders suitable for high-speed production lines?
Yes. Industrial inkjet coders are designed to work even on very fast production lines, delivering sharp, accurate and continuous printing with no direct contact with the product. Some models are developed specifically for complex, high-output production environments.

What advantages do industrial inkjet coders offer over other coding systems?
Inkjet coders offer great application flexibility, high print quality, operating speed and easy integration into production lines. They also cut machine downtime, require little maintenance and deliver reliable coding even in demanding industrial environments.
