Domino Gx350i

Domino Gx350i: Clear and Precise Coding

The Domino Gx350i thermal inkjet printer is Domino’s specialist for multi-head coding applications and rapid data transfer, making it the ideal printer even for the most demanding environments across various industries. The compact printheads are designed for easy installation on any production line and can be mounted up to 25 meters from the IP64 controller. Additionally, the 10-inch touchscreen display and its highly intuitive user interface enable error-free operation and on-board data entry. The Domino Gx350i Thermal Inkjet Series printers require minimal installation space, fitting within just 5.2 × 5.09 × 2.85 cm. They offer three different connector options (front, rear, and top), while the LED status indicators always display the current printing status, signaling, for example, which cartridge needs replacement. Moreover, no maintenance is required — changing the ink cartridge automatically replaces all other wear components. The printer ensures error-free coding, thanks to automatic ink parameter settings.

Variants

The Domino Gx series printers are also available with EXT and OPT printhead variants. These cartridges improve adhesion on a range of materials, especially on non-porous, recyclable PP/PE thin-film products, making it easier to code products with uneven surfaces. The EXT and OPT printheads are the ideal solution for companies that need to print codes larger than 12.7 mm.

GX PRO: ready for the 2D codes of the future
The new Domino GX PRO printheads are designed for companies that want to stay ahead of the move to GS1 Digital Link and the next generation of 2D codes. With a print height of up to 23 mm, high resolution and strong contrast, GX PRO delivers clear, easily readable and reliable codes – even on high-speed production lines.
GX PRO makes it easy to embed variable data such as batch numbers, expiry dates and traceability information directly into 2D codes. This improves traceability, increases data security and supports more efficient management across the whole supply chain.
For maximum quality assurance, GX PRO can be integrated directly with Domino R-Series vision systems, which automatically verify every single code on the production line. The result is fewer errors, less waste and greater production reliability.
GX PRO is the ideal choice for food, pharma and industrial production, where the demands on traceability, compliance and efficiency keep growing. A future-proof solution that helps you be ready for tomorrow’s requirements – today.

FAQ

Which materials can industrial inkjet coders print on?
Industrial inkjet coders can code and mark a wide range of materials, including cardboard, plastic, glass, PET, metal, flexible films and secondary packaging. Thanks to the different technologies available (CIJ, TIJ, high and low resolution), they suit a great many industrial sectors.

What information can be printed with an inkjet coder?
Industrial inkjet systems can print batch codes, expiry dates, 1D and 2D barcodes, QR codes, datamatrix codes, logos, variable text and product traceability information. Some models also support data serialisation and high-definition coding.

Are inkjet coders suitable for high-speed production lines?
Yes. Industrial inkjet coders are designed to work even on very fast production lines, delivering sharp, accurate and continuous printing with no direct contact with the product. Some models are developed specifically for complex, high-output production environments.

What advantages do industrial inkjet coders offer over other coding systems?
Inkjet coders offer great application flexibility, high print quality, operating speed and easy integration into production lines. They also cut machine downtime, require little maintenance and deliver reliable coding even in demanding industrial environments.
