Our evolution
Nimax was founded in Bologna, in the heart of Packaging Valley,
by a group of professionals with extensive technical experience
in Italy’s large-scale automatic machinery industry.
From the very beginning, expertise and specialization have been the cornerstones of the company’s growth.
A collaboration is underway with Domino Printing Sciences, a global leader in industrial coding, marking, and printing systems. Nimax has become the exclusive distributor for Italy, launching a strategic partnership that strengthens the company’s technological position.
A period of structured growth coincided with the rise of inkjet technology and the introduction of European regulations on product marking. Nimax strengthened its market presence and gradually expanded its expertise and organizational structure.
Labeling and Quality Control
Nimax Labelling and Nimax Inspection and Control have been established – two divisions dedicated, respectively, to digital label printing and inspection systems (metal detectors, checkweighers, and X-ray machines) – expanding the company’s offerings to include integrated solutions along the entire production line.
The group is strengthening its position with the addition of Nemesis, an Italian company specializing in checkweighers, further consolidating its expertise in weight control.
With the acquisition of Domino Systems A/S and Wichmann Systems, Nimax is expanding its presence in Europe and East Africa. Nimax Danmark, Nimax Uganda, Nimax Kenya, and Nimax Tanzania are established: a development that marks a new phase of international growth.
